Rachel Ray of Cards

I've decided if I had to name the Food Network chef I was most like, it would be Rachel Ray. Now I'm talking in terms of style for paper crafting. I like quick and easy but a wow result. That can be a tall order and maybe I don't meet it all the time but I try.

This card fits the bill IMHO. I created this for the Color Challenge of Groovy Guava and Always Artichoke. Hum, since I had a scrappin kit with those colors already, why reinvent the wheel? I just pulled out the kit and found a sentiment I wanted with a font that matched the feel of my card and viola! You've got a simple but wow card in less than 10 minutes. The 10 includes playing with the layout. If you all cased this card you could be done in less than 5! So whatcha waiting for? Go make a card!

I used that same scrappin' kit and used only half and made 10 cards with nothing but what was in the kit. I used the other half and copied the cards for my friend and she is doing the same with one half and giving me her ideas with the rest. There is a lot left over even after 20 cards. Enjoy those scrappin' kits for cards. They're great! Judy Veasey
