Doodle Factory

Talk about last minute! I received my much anticipated Doodle Factory stamps in the mail on Saturday afternoon before the shoebox swap. I mounted them and designed a quick card that cracked me up. These images just make me smile. The below card was my swap and then I went to town this evening using up the few extra pieces of cardstock I had left from the swap (reason for the same color scheme).
This was my second creation with the stamps for the SCS Featured stamper challenge. I cased the ribbon treatment and placement for this card. I added an epoxy sticker to the window on the rocket to give it that special somthing. I also used my blender pen with ink to create some shading on the images.

This uses the same card stock as my swap with just the addition of the sentiment pannel. The dots just seem to make this card special. I decided to free hand them with my Sakura yellow glaze pen. It adds dimention and shine. It's also used on the dots and star by his feet. I added twinkle to the crown with a Atyou Spica pen. I wish it was a little less sutble but it's a fun touch none the less. I guess the little boy that will probably get this card wouldn't be thrilled with a lot of glitter.
