Day Dream

Wow, did a whole week really go by since my last post? It's been a busy one. I haven't been home in the evening most nights last week (which is my stamping time) so I guess that explains it. I had a class at my house yesterday (pictures coming soon) which was fun and made me realize how out of practice I've become for demoing projects. I guess I'll just have to start doing that more often. It was a group of dedicated stampers since it happened to be over 90 and out first nice Saturday of the Spring. Oh, did I mention I have no AC and we stamped with the light out to make it a little cooler? LOL! It was so fun to see everyone who could make it.

Here is a card I made with my new Unity Stamps. I broke them out to play for the first time today and had a lot of fun with them. I tried to keep a really simple theme today. I'm reminding myself to not make it more complicated than it needs to be. I resisted a background on the banana and kept the focus on the main flower image. All the white is sparkly but it's hard to see from the photo.

I simply layered the images do add some pop and the tiny crystals from Hero Arts, which were tedious to add but worth it.

Sarah, this is beautiful! I'm glad you kept it simple, because the flower really pops! I didn't order Flower Parade, and now I think it will have to be on my next order (yes, I've already ordered twice from Unity, and am thinking about my next order!!!! I'm addicted.)

Just beautiful. I know I have said this a hundred times, but you always choose the best colors. And your cards are always so well balanced. I really love the crystals and the dimension.
