I received the True Friend set in the mail today from a trade I did on SCS. I have nothing else like this and thought I should give at least one of these "boho" sets a try. New rubber + new technique posted on SCS = craft time! I set out to make a flowery Flap Card and then once I had the background stamped it screamed western. What is an essential closure for a western outfit? A belt buckle of course! Break out the chipboard, silver embossing powder and the big ol' Thank You stamp and you've got yourself a beltbuckle!
I embossed the chipboard 3 times and right after the 3rd time while it's still hot smoosh your stamp in there and hold for a moment. You'll then be left with faux metal. I added some rhinestone to complete the look.
