Tonight I stopped by the store on the way home to pick up some nuggets. I've been wanting to make a nugget box with a clear sleeve since the Challenge was posted on Monday and tonight was the night!
I've covered nuggets before by stamping on a sheet of mailing labels and then using them to cover the nuggets but I've never made a box for them before. You can find a pattern library for any shape or size that fits these nuggets here. What an amazing library of templates for these little guys!
I was a little nervous the sleeve wouldn't score very well but take a bone folder to that transperancy sheet after scoring and it's perfect!
I'd highly suggest taking a peek at the amazing tallent in the SCS Gallery for nugget boxes because after I uploaded this project I saw so many samples that blow this away! I'm going to be looking at this gallery to help me decide on a final design. I'm going to make these to hand out to people at work this year in place of a card.
