Quick little buggers

Today's limited supply challenge was the perfect excuse to just stamp something quick and fun which would not be used in my Artisan Award submission. The Challenge was to make cards using scraps that were smaller than 4 1/4 x4 1/4. I sure love making 3x3's so this was right up my alley. I made 3 in about 25 minutes, not too shabby!
And here is my favorite of the three. I just love tulips and can't wait for the ones in my yard to bloom! This is an A Muse sentiment and Penny Black stamp. I used marker for the coloring. It was a little trick since the petals touch the stem in one place but I love the effect of the Old Olive bleeding into the celery for the perfect shadow. All it takes is running the marker up the side of the rubber and you're done!
