It's that time of year where I design card after card looking for "the one" I'll make about 40 of. What usually happens is I make so many trial cards everyone ends up getting a different card because I've made enough to send out before finding "the one".
This is always interesting because when people tell me they liked the card I sent I just smile and nod while wondering which one I sent them :)
Here is a little guy I made using Beate's weekend sketch challenge. I got lucky since designer paper I used follows the same layout as the sketch almost. I only had to add that little bit of white behind the tree and then lay the sentiment panel on top.
Here is my trick on how to get the perfect tidy little French bow. I first layed down a flat piece of ribon across the panel and secured at each end. Then I made a circle out of the ribbon by using a glue dot to close it. Then wraped the circle with a small piece of ribon which turns it into a "bow". Just stick that onto your flat piece of ribbon and you're good to go!
I'll be creating lots of Christmas cards this weekend so look for another post tomorrow with some of my favorites.

Sarah, I can so relate to having to nod and smile because I have no idea which card I sent to whom! Except I don't ever intend to design "the one"- I just know that over the course of a few months I'll have enough to send to my entire list! This one is lovely and I think would work nicely for you... but then it won't be as much fun when you get those comments and you won't have to wonder which card they got!
