Birds and Buttons

Hello! On Sunday night I spent the evening cleaning up my craft room and decided to make some major changes to my workspace. I've been playing with the idea of moving inks off my desktop with the exception of my black and brown ink. It's what I've been using about 80% of the time now that I love using Copic markers anyway so I cleared it off and it's just a few steps away in the closet now.

I also wanted to do something pretty to both display and organize my supplies. Buttons in jars sorted by color it is! Colors and shapes (especially circles) inspire me so what better to have line the edge of my desk than 5 jars of buttons?

I love having more workspace, especially when scrapping. The ink just too up so much space! Here's a card I made this evening. All stamp images are from Unity. The branch is from Maya Road.

great job cleaning up your craft space, now I have a question for you, your desk is made from what peices? I think I have a few of the the cubs and such to make it but was wondering how many you have and your configuration? thanks

My desk is one of the modular units. I have 8 of the cubes (4 on each end) with two of the desk pannels in the center. On the side I sit on I have cubes with drawers and one with slats for paper storage where I keep paper and long tools like paper cutter, cleaning pad, and pencil cases. On the back side I have more paper storage and open cubes for my albums.
