Egg Hunt Invites

I love hosting egg hunt brunches for my nieces and nephews. This year I'm thrilled to have my own kids participate as well. I've never mailed invites for it before but thought I'd put my Easter stamps to use this time around. I'm a little embarrassed to admit that I've had these spring images for about 4-5 years but never inked them up. I won about 8 tiny spring images from a blog candy post nearly 5 years ago. I don't know who the maker is which is another reason I haven't used them. Sticking with just one layout is boring so I decided to go with two.

The card above is a classic layout but fun for featuring the eggs. I covered them in glossy glaze which is a bit hard to tell from the photo but looks fun in real life. The background was made with a canvas stamp from Stampin' Up!

This card has the same egg image used as a background and then I added the basket of eggs to the metal edged tag. I had fun with the scalloped edge and adding some Hambly washi tape in place of the ribbon I'd usually use as a go to.

Thanks so much for looking!

I love them both :) The canvas background is perfect, and I love the layout on the second card, especially how you curved the layer to mimic the shape of the metal tag. Awesome :)

Those easter stamps were just waiting for the right moment Sarah! I love both these designs - the eggs punched out with circles on the first and the indent for the tag in the second are great details.
