Trendy Challenge

The CAS Challenge over at Splitcoast Stampers this week is to make a trendy card. I've been so excited about this challenge because I'm a trend lover and watcher. In fact I'm sure I'll submit a few cards this week just to get in all the trends I love. I've featured wood veneer embellishments in a trendy camera theme along with chevrons even though it's a 2 year + trend I still like. I've also rounded only one corner which seems to be a favorite lately.

I used my copics to add color to the wood which is nice for speed since it dries right away. I also like how it brings out the grain in the wood.

The hottest trends I am aware of but didn't use are sequins and die cutting which features the negative space. Maybe I'll get a few of those made tomorrow since it's a three day weekend :)

Supplies: Copic markers to color the Pima wood cameras, A Muse Studio chevron paper in Seattle, sentiment from Studio Calico.

Love this card! I like how you colored the wooden cameras. I'm going to have to try using Copics on my veneers.
