This card was my first attempt at a unisex birthday card for my Feb SAS. I thought it was a bit of a stretch and possibly gorsgrain ribbon would "tone it down". So I called in my husband to get his opinion and he said it wouldn't work for a guy, even with grosgrain ribbon. Then I asked if he would think it was a weird card to get from me and he said no. Here's the quote of the day for me "Oh, well if it's from a girl thats ok. Things can be girly if they come from a girl. In that case it's fine." Ah ha now I get it, I can give a guy a girly card but not my husband.
I'll see what else I come up with before deciding on this one for sure but I love these colors together so much!

I agree with Jay. Girly cards can come from girls, but wives are held to a higher standard. Huwever, Mom's and Grannies get to send what ever they want.
