Got Ribbon?

I've been working on this tin on and off all week. It gets pretty boring laying the ribbon down so it held my attention for about 15 minutes each evening I sat down to stamp. I was inspired by my mason jar of extra bits of ribbon. It looks so pretty in there. I covered this lunch pail tin using bits of sticky strip on either end and a band of about 1.2" thick in the center on the pail itself. It's holding really well so far. Once I decide what to use this for I'll attach a title or stamp the lid. Until then I'm going to enjoy my ribbon and work on stocking that mason jar back up!

Here is a quick card I did to participate in the Featured Stamper challenge today. I was excited to see Jodi was chosen as the FS. She is so kind and talented. I case'd this card from her. It was a challenge for me since we have very different styles of stamping. She's a master at multi layers that I just can't seem to make work. This card has more layers than usual for me but I love the clean fresh colors. I used the DP by K & Co as my insparation. I need to remember to use DP in this way more often. If you let it be the star it creates quick cards with little mess and work from you!

The tin looks fab!
I also like the card you made. I have to say I have started to really think about the use of DP with my cards and am finding that it is adding such a nice dimension to card making process. And it's quick as you stated. TFS! Looks great.

I love how your tin turned out. I hoard ribbon – like everything else – so I don’t know if I could do this one. Too painful. 
But I’m really in love with your green card. The colors are perfect – crisp and mellow at the same time. What are the three round glossy accents on the left of the card?
