This week I've been playing with my May Unity Kit of the Month...LOVE!

I've had this pin of a cake filed away for inspiration and it came in handy for this cake image. I made a very simple card but played with different ink colors for each of the "party" images. It's times like this I'm glad I've hung onto my Stampin' Up! markers. Direct to rubber is one thing Copics don't quite pull off in the same way as water based ink markers. The flame and scallops are dotted with stickles that didn't quite show up in the photo.
Have a great Friday and go check out some of the other blogs in the Friends with Flair blog hop!

Love it! So festive!
Sarah, this is gorgeous! I love the cake where you drew your inspiration from. You can use Copics on your rubber stamps. You just have to mist them with rubbing alcohol. I haven't tried it yet but have seen several tutorials! Did you get any good news today on either end? I'm hoping that you did!
Hi Sarah! This is a Gorgeous card!! Love the way you stamped the sentiment in different colours to coordinate with the awesome looking cake!
