Dare to Be Fab!

For yesterday's Sketch Challenge I made my first ever Table Tent card. To make this you use a base of 8 1/2 x4 1/4 and then choose any style topper to attach which would extend to a final size of 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 so you can use a standard envelope size. Okay, that was far too many numbers...boring! On to the stamping.

This is another one of those cards I whipped out between 5:10 & 5:40 in the morning. Not only am I dealing with a time crunch but I'm working on no coffee! I usually make pretty simple cards when I do this and it's a good design check for myself to make sure I'm sticking with standard principles and remembering that less can be more. If I'd had more time I think I would have done a multi layered flower. This stamp is perfect for that, you can find three distinct flowers in this bloom that look amazing when you cut them out and layer them.

I first inked up the flower in Pretty in Pink and then selected a few petals to highlight with a Regal Rose Marker. This turned out to be a bit more subtle than I hoped so I went in with the 2-way glue pen and added some sparkle with Hologram Highlights Embossing Powder.

I added the fun jumbo eyelets on the bottom with my cropadile. My only complaint about these is that the eyelets are so jumbo it's quite a squeeze to get them in, but they do fit with a little persuasion.
