Trendy Neon

Today is the first day of the FREE Let's Get Trendy workshop. If you are not already participating check out the blog for how to play along!

I feel like I'm getting schooled in trends every which way today because I spent about 6 hours of my 9-5 job in a class about Trend Analysis. It was fascinating and 100% relevant to my "real" job and my personal interests. I'm still in awe I didn't have to pay to go to it but rather was paid to be there.

It's only fitting I use the neon trend that is the subject of today's lesson on my card. I used this strip of neon green tape that came in a Studio Calico kit. I was inspired by Amy Tsuruta's  sample and used a similar layout and color scheme. I guess I had her in mind because as I took my trend class I was looking out windows that face the building she works in across the street thinking about how I bet she would have like to be in the same class :) The card is really grey but the color just didn't turn out in my photo as lighting was an issue for me this evening.

Supplies: Stamp - Southern Sass from A Muse Studio, Seattle Paper from A Muse Studio, and stars and neon tape from Studio Calico
